The room was updated and had clean sheets on the bed, much appreciated after a long day. The service was commendable, particularly from the woman at the front desk, who was very accommodating. I found the location easy to spot from the road, made for convenient access.
The area felt unsafe due to loiterers and noise from nearby parties.

A great selection of goodies for breakfast. Got spotless and cheap room with an ancient microwave, an older cube TV with a hundred cable channels plus large fridge. Location short walk to downtown shops and numerous gas stations and chain restaurants and Walterboro, SC.

Rooms smelled of smoke despite being designated non-smoking, and the floors left our feet black. Shady characters loitered around, while loud parties went unchecked despite multiple complaints. Furniture was stained and chairs too dirty to sit on.

Checking into this Rodeway Inn was a bit uneasy due to the bathroom door having a hole in it. I have to say the rooms were updated and the beds were reasonably clean were nice. The area outside felt a bit sketchy with loiterers around, unsettling, especially when I noticed people roaming late at night. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating, which did help ease some tension. I felt uncomfortable with the noise levels, as there seemed to be parties occurring nearby. Still, the rate was budget-friendly, a plus for a quick stop. If you don't mind some shortcomings, this place is okay for a one-night stay but I wouldn't choose it for longer visits.

The room was decent, with a private bathroom, TV, and plenty of toilet paper. The beds were made up and looked clean. There were also spa facilities which were a nice touch. It felt a bit updated overall with some amenities that helped out. Just a quick stop really, nothing fancy.
